Hilton Family Support is overseen by a Board of Trustees, made up of local people invested in the life and well-being of Hilton.

The project is run by our full-time workers and a core of dedicated volunteers.

 Our Full-Time Workers

Kasia McCubbin – Early Years Development Worker

I started with Hilton Family Support in December 2022, as the Early Years Development Worker, to develop a “Family Hub” in Hilton.  Previously I have worked around the Highlands supporting and setting up Play Groups. I supported nurseries and worked with various professionals around that field.

With that experience behind me and my passion to help parents with young children, I look forward to engaging with families in the Hilton area. I aim to expand what Hilton Family Support has to offer young families. To help me do so, I am collaborating with other third sector organisations to explore new options and possibilities for expanding our support for families in the Hilton area. I look forward to sharing with you all that the next few months will bring.

Gareth Golder – Family Support Worker

I have a broad and diverse educational and professional background in care and education, and I’m passionate about child development and the importance of a strong community in a child’s life. At Hilton Family Support, I work to ensure families feel supported — whether that’s through peer connection, access to essentials, or help navigating local services and resources.

I run a support group for families every Wednesday during term time. In our sessions, we host guest speakers who offer advice and guidance, activities which facilitate parent-child bonding and going on group trips. Alongside our Wednesday support group, I also get involved in PEEP sessions and Friday toddler group. There may be additional groups and activities so keep an eye on our social media and if you’re interested to get involved with any of our groups and activities, feel free to get in touch.
